Password Guidelines When changing your password for the Merchants Insurance secure website, the following rules apply to the new password being entered: Is not case sensitive. Cannot be equal to your User ID. Cannot be equal to your current password. Must be a minimum of 6 characters and a maximum of 16 characters. Must contain at least one number.
